ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to new client instructions, our Leasehold Enfranchisement and Residential team (LER), are currently looking for an additional experienced residential conveyancing paralegal, to assist with both fee-earning and administrative duties. The team deal with high value residential transactions across London and the surrounding area.

The role will see you work alongside a collaborative team, assisting senior lawyers on a variety of tasks including preparing letters of engagement, drafting contracts/transfers and management packs. You will also obtain land registry documents and own the post-completion workflow. The position will also enable you to have direct contact with clients, assisting them with their transactions and coordinating any meetings as appropriate.  

ABOUT YOU

If you enjoy the process led environment of residential law and enjoy using your inter-personal skills to provide a first-class client experience, we’d love to hear from you. However, due to the current workflow, we are looking for someone with demonstrable experience as a residential paralegal, with sound knowledge of the various Land Registry forms (such as such as TR1’s, AP1’s, RX1’s, RX4’s, UN1’s, DS1’s, OS1’s, and OS2’s), experience of time recording and post-completion.

You will also have the ability with your written skills to adapt your communication style to meet the needs of different audiences. Excellent IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with a love for exploring how technology can streamline processes is also a must in this role.

Interview (in person at our London office)

Offer of employment

If you are successful and accept our offer of employment, we will submit your details to our background screening company (Giant), who will conduct a series of background checks. Once these have been completed and we have separately validated your proof of right to work in the UK, a start date can be agreed, and your onboarding schedule can be planned.
