The team

There are 13 people in the Private Client Department, including 3 Partners, 1 Senior Associate, 3 Solicitors, 1 Senior Trust Manager, 1 Trainee plus 4 support staff.


The role

The job primarily involves assisting the Senior Trust Manager with preparing trust accounts/tax returns and generally assisting as required to help with all matters relating to the trust department.

This is an apprentice role and as well as on the job training there will be the opportunity to attend college and attain a relevant accountancy/tax qualification for the successful candidate and an excellent opportunity for career progression.




Candidate specification

Minimum of 3 A levels including Maths

Hardworking and able to balance work with study

Team player

Numerate with a head for figures  

Excellent computer skills including Word and intermediate Excel required

Genuine interest in a career in the private client law sector at Winckworth Sherwood
