ABOUT THE ROLE

The Residential Development Sales (RDS), department deals with the sale of plots for several House Builders and Registered Social Landlord’s with clients such as Barratt, Berkeley, Canary Wharf, L&Q, Notting Hill Genesis and A2Dominion.

This full time (35hr a week), 9-month fixed term contract role is an entry level position to assist the department (or relevant team) with administrative support, therefore it would suit someone eager to start their career in a professional services environment. Full training will be provided with regular check-ins to help you achieve learning milestones.

As an entry level Residential Development Sales Assistant, your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Data entry
  • Scanning documents and uploading them to our internal document management system
  • Dealing with incoming/outgoing post and answering the telephone
  • Taking messages and dealing with email requests.

Once you are confident with the core duties of the role, there will be the opportunity to become more involved in contract creation and communication with clients.

Your profile will be screened by a member of the WS recruitment team. If you CV is shortlisted, you will be invited to have a short call with our Recruitment Manager, Ash Evans, to discuss your interest in the vacancy. Interview (in person at our London office)

You will meet the head of the department and another partner, who will provide more insight into the role, their department and their clients. They will also discuss your experience, and interest in the role. We will also set you a data entry and written exercise. 

This will be a good opportunity to ask any role/firm specific questions.

Offer of employment

If you are successful and accept our offer of employment, we will submit your details to our background screening company (Giant), who will conduct a series of background checks. Once these have been completed and we have separately validated your proof of right to work in the UK, a start date can be agreed, and your onboarding schedule can be planned.
